« After finding an unprocessed Super 8 film reel in her archives, Maëlle Tocaben attempts to recall the potential images that might be on it. Believing that it was filmed in the kitchen of her former apartment, she decides to recreate this space in order to host the images that refer to it.
It is only once the installation is complete that she views the film and discovers that it bears no resemblance to her memories: sleeping wild geese, blurred self-portraits reflected in a window, landscapes passing by outside the subway window… Memory is misleading.
